Sulekha Kaul

Ms. Sulekha Kaul is the Head of Foreign Exchange Laws practice with Delhi office of Vaish Associates Advocates and has an experience of 25 years. She is a lawyer by profession with a Master’s degree in law and has been practicing as a corporate and employment law attorney since 1994.

She specializes in foreign exchange laws and employment laws and has worked extensively on assignments pertaining to employment law, inbound and out bound investments, advised clients on setting up of joint venture/wholly owned subsidiary in India and abroad as well as liaison/branch/project office in India. She has assisted clients in technical and financial collaborations, and seeking approval from various regulatory authorities such as the Foreign Investment Promotion Board, Reserve Bank of India etc.

She has advised clients across a broad range of industries on various employment laws and has also been involved in drafting and review of human resource policies, employment agreements, trade union agreements etc. She has been involved in advising international and domestic non-profit organizations on various legal/regulatory issues and has been involved in setting up of various forms of non-profit entities in India.

Further, she has also been advising clients on various issues under the Foreign Contribution Regulations Act,2010.
